My 2006 Honda Pilot makes an intermittent roaring noise that seems to come from underneath the car in the rear. It does not seem to be tire noise, and I think it may be the exhaust or the catalytic converter. The noise comes and goes, and usually stops if I slow down by applying the brakes or by just taking my foot off of the gas.
