2006 Honda Odyssey whistling window wipers

How do you stop the whistling sound around the windshield wipers in the 2006 Odyssey.

You can try using deflectors on your wipers.

Thanks. I tried wrapping painter’s tape around the driver’s side wiper to smooth the air flow around it, but it didn’t seem to help much. Actually hard to tell where the noise is coming from. I asked the previous owner about it and he never tried anything. Just turned the stereo up louder.

Turn the stereo up? lol … another idea, you may have an aftermarket wiper ass’y, so next time replace the wiper ass’y with ones you buy at your Honda dealership.

Take the masking tape and apply it around the perimeter of the windshield.

If the whistling goes away, the problem is with the windshield.

Now remove small sections of the masking tape.

When the whistle returns, that’s the section of the windshield making the whistling noise.

Take the wiper arms and blades completely off to determine if they are the actual source of the whistling .

Thanks. Two good suggestions.

Makes sense. Then use a silicone sealant in that area?

Good troubleshooting idea.

All very helpful.
