There was an alarm causing the vehicle to beep continuously. It said it was due to a rear sliding door not being closed all the way, they all were, and latched. No other related issue was shown but the beeping. After turning it off and starting again, the beeping would persist, but the error didn’t pop up on the dash. Even when turning it off and exiting the van, the beeping would persist. Had to unplug the engine to make it stop, still troubleshooting.
The switch or sensor on your door has failed so the car’s computer thinks the door is open. Any decent auto shop should be able to fix it.

The GM vans of this era were notorious for door chime constantly sounding even if doors were closed.
This can be caused by many things such a bad door sensor or even a bad BCM which can be expensive to replace.
But the chime can be disable by removing it from the BCM so it doesn’t drive you crazy.
