Slight leak from the waterpump about 2 weeks ago. Not even enough to add coolant. saw a drop on the bottom of the waterpump pully which threw a couple of drops onto the bottom hose. been checking it for a week now and it has’nt leaked again. everything dry. Im sure it was coming from the seal. car has 54000 miles on it. don’t want to replace it unless it really needs it. Taking it on a 500 mile trip this weekend. Any suggestions? Thanks
I suggest you keep a close eye on the water pump. Check it every time you stop. Odds are it will still be OK until you get home. When you feel the leak is bad enough you can replace the pump.
