My Dodge Ram has 198,000 miles with no know issues until recently. No evidence of burning oil (smoking) and no drips but about every 3,000 miles it goes down about 1 1/2 quarts of oil
Check the oil regularly and don’t lrt it get down more than 1 quart of oil. If the oil use continues at this rate and you change every 3000, I would add 3/4 qt at 1500.
