is there anyway to by-pass the braking action of these infuriating transmissions; have been reading about them all over the internet on 05,06,07 auto 5-speed camry’s and avalon’s; never thought in a million years i’d be thinking of giving up on toyota as my brand of choice

We also have a 2005 Camry with auto 5-speed trans, but not familiar with the “braking action of these infuriating transmissions”. Could you give more of a description? We have owned our Camry since new, and have found very little to complain about.
