2004 VW Jetta car alarm issue

Hi, everyone!



My 2004 VW Jetta’s car alarm intermittently goes off. The locks are also cycling on their own. Is there a way to disable the alarm system but leave the electric locks functional?

I had a Jetta where both door locks died within 24 hours, something I never figured out, but I needed a 50 mile tow.

I’d talk to a dealer.
