Has Toyota stepped up to the plate regarding the cracking of dashboards in the Solara? What are the repairable options?
From the other thread on this issue:

Owner notification letters for the warranty extension for instrument panels was sent out in 2015. The 2004 to 2008 Solara was included in the warranty enhancement but for your vehicle it expired May 31, 2017.
I purchased the vehicle in February of 2017 from a personal owner and was not aware of any extension.
Do I have any recourse?
No , especially since you are not the original owner . Just get a dash cover after all this is a 15 year old vehicle and not a collectable.
The previous owner didn’t take advantage of the warranty offer on the dash pad, didn’t give you the notification letter or may not have received the letter, what can be done about this? Nothing, old cars are usually sold as-is and Toyota is not going to send notification letters to sequential owners of the vehicle.
COVERLAY has a dash cover for your vehicle to conceal dash cracks.
Just pick the color.
