The power liftgate on my 2004 Nissan Quest no longer works on power. Does anybody know what this could be besides a fuse (which is my first guess) or which fuse it would be. The labels on the fuses do not say “Power Lift Gate” anywhere.
First check the 50 amp fusible link J located in the box on the left side of the engine compartment.
Next, check the two fuses #17, 15 amp, and #12, 10 amp, located behind the left side of the dash.
If these check out okay, then the problem could be with the back door control unit located at the rear left side corner of the vehicle.

Unfortunately, the fuses all look fine. I will put a meter on them when I get the chance to make sure that they are good. If my problem is the control unit, I assume that is something that will need the dealers attention?
