I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 liter V8. I had problems with it staying lit when I turned the engine over and deduced it was a fuel pump or fuel filter problem. But I kept trying to turn the engine over and now I get nothing when I turn the key. My lights come on, but nothing from the engine. No click click from the starter nothing. Need Help!!!
More than likely you drained the battery. It now does not have enough power for the starter. Put it on a trickle charger over night.
Agree on charging the battery. Did you figure out if it was the pump or filter? Never crank longer than about 30 seconds at a time, you can damage the starter.
It’s 10 seconds at a time. Not 30.
