Last week the defrost on my 2004 Camry stopped working. It blows air, but it’s the same temp as the air outside. Consequently, moisture keeps condensing on the outside of the window. The a/c works and the heater blows hot air. Any idea as to what could be wrong?
It is one of the HVAC door actuators that directs the air to the defroster has failed. Not uncommon. I have one in the process of failing as of two days ago. I hear it make a ratcheting noise. Any AC shop can replace the actuator.
You don’t need to be a certified AC technician to repair a blend door.
