The check engine light and the vsa light has come on and I took it to the acura dealership in portland and now the cruise control no longer works and it did when I dropped it off to them. They recommend not to drive the car because I could be doing permanent damage to the engine of the car. I would like any recommendations please.
Have an independent repair shop look at it. I think there may be a problem with the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) circuit.
I concur with the VSS is a likely culprit. If your check engine light is not flashing and the transmission shifts okay you can drive it around until it gets addressed soon.
