2003 Saturn L - Won't start

03 sat l200 wont start…with starting fluid runs 2-3 secs

It cranks ok – a robust rrr rrr rrr sound w/key in “start” , right? If so, then sounds like some sort of fuel system issue. Make sure gas tank has gas in it. Don’t trust fuel gauge, may be faulty. Next step, ask shop to figure out if injectors are being pulsed during cranking. Let us know the result. Also, what happened between time it worked ok, and now?

Bad fuel pump most likely.

Check if the fuel pump fuse has blown in the fuse box under the hood.

If the fuse is good, swap the fuel pump relay with the wiper relay.

If the car still won’t start, then the fuel pump.is probably bad.
