My car keeps showing an E instead of D5 when I put it in drive. It will not shift gears but sometimes it will jump and start shifting. There are times when I have to pull over and turn my car off for a few minutes. After I start it up again, sometimes it’ll run and shift gears and other times it doesn’t
I liked them when they were new but now yours is displaying some of the Jaguar DNA.
It needs to visit either a transmission shop or a dealer. I think that E means error.
I tend to think that you are right, but the OP can confirm or deny our theory by simply reading the appropriate section of her Owner’s Manual.
Again, +1.
