When I go to get into the gas, it goes and stops go and stop… It happens in park, or in neutral as well.
No Check Engine Light?
Yes. Sometimes it stays on… some times it blinks.
If the CEL is actually blinking then you need to have it towed to a mechanic before serious damage is done. You may even have towing on your insurance policy .
why? What is it that is causing this? I am thinking it is a vacuum leak, or one of the sensors is going bad. I do not have the money to get it towed, nor go to a mechanic. So I have to do this myself. Any suggestions?
The blinking CEL indicates a serious misfire that can damage the catalytic converter. Continue to drive it at your peril.
