Seriously, this is not a internet repair, don’t use the cruise control and get this to a shop maybe even a dealer. Also ask then to search for any repair bulletins .
There is a switch on the brake pedal that has two functions, it turns on the brake lights, and it turns off the cruise control. Check that switch, see if it turns on the brake lights.

There is a recall on this for a number of Chrysler Products. Owners are told NOT to use their cruise control until parts are available. This is a potentially very dangerous situation. A friend of my wife has a Durango, and she’s been notified.
That recall is mostly for 2014 to 2018 vehicles and not all Chrysler products.
