has anyone seen a 2001 subaru forester that has the factory glass sunroof, and it only grunts when you press the interior button to open glass sunroof? The dealer said that it would be about $300 just to start to diagnose the problem, but could not tell me why, probably because it appears electrical in nature?
In the 9 years I have owned the car (original owner), I have never done any PM work on it, like silicone spraying the track, or anything else? Dealer never advised for me to do, so I just enjoyed opening it, when it worked!
Any ideas, I can still crank it open by hand, but that is only for emergency opening, right? What a pain that would be to open it only by crank?
PLEASE HELP, IF YOU CAN?
