2001 Hyundai Santa Fe jerking

I have a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L that has been recently giving me a jerking problem. It happens when I’m driving in the highway, in the city, and even when I’m idling. It happens whether I have the A/C turned on or off. It happens more often when I’m idling and also when I have the A/C turned on. The crankshaft postion sensor has recently been replaced

The transmission has recently been rebuilt and the crankshaft postion sensor has recently been replaced.

The mechanic can’t find what the problem is.

Please help!

I think we’ll all need more explanation of what’s going on. What I read above seems very unclear to me. Do you have the FWD or 4WD version? Does this jerking seem to be the car itself (like it’s trying to “jump” forward, or like it’s settling after a stop?)?
