2001 Honda Civic Transmission Noise

Hi there,

I have a 2001 Honda Civic manual transmission, and it has been making some low clunking noise when the car is rolling in 1st or 2nd gear. The clutch nor the throttle was engaged, but once either one is engaged, the noise disappears. What might be the problem? Thanks!

Is this the original clutch? how many miles?

My 1999 Civic had something like this when new. The dealer fixed it and told me it was something to do with bushings in the linkage between the shift lever and the trans.
