My Accord is closing in on 100,000 miles, the required maintenance light is now on. What is the minimum required maintenance for this car at this milage? I have changed the oil every 5,00 miles, changed the brake pads and bought new tires.
Consult the maintenance schedule that came with the owner’s manual. It will tell you if there’s anything due at 100k miles.
Pay close attention to the section about the timing belt. If it hasn’t been replaced yet I recommend you schedule it soon. If the belt breaks the engine will be damaged internally. This applies to either engine.
