2001 Dodge Ram 1500 touchy brakes

My brakes are very touchy especially when I first drive it in damp weather. It there anything that can be done to fix this?

Check and see if one or the rear brakes shoes has beem contaminated by a leaking wheel cylinder or leaking gear oil from a blown axle seal.

If so make the repair. remove the shoes, scrub all the parts, backing plates and drums with a degreaser , then strong detergent and hot water and replace with new shoes.

The rear brakes will grab if the brake shoes are out of adjustment, clean and adjust the rear brakes.

Cheap brake pads will do this. Especially on the front. Change them to a better (higher priced) set
