Guys, whenever the power door lock is used, the next time the driverside door is opened, the horn alarm goes off, provided that the doors haven’t been manually locked since, otherwise it consistently does it; how does one disable this feature? Thanks and keep 'em coming!
Are you sure it is a “feature” ? Does it have am aftermarket security system? If so, that’s where I’d start.
The owners manual should have a way to disable this feature, if it is one, not an error caused by a failed switch or signal that someone is stealing the car. Are there any door-light switches that fail to operate? Any power locks that no longer work? If you remote power lock the car, does the alarm go off?
