Original owner, 130K mi. Just started having this intermittent problem… Starts at first crank, but then a few seconds later, will stall. To keep running, I have to keep the accelerator slightly depresssed, and then a foot on brake and gas to put in gear. Other times it starts and runs fine with no other driveability issues. Any suggestions.
The first thing to do is to have a fuel pressure test done. The Auroras had a history of faulty fuel pressure regulators. Other likely causes could be a fuel pump going south. Sounds like a fuel issue though so need to check to see if pressure is in spec while it is causing the problem.
