3 mechanics can’t find what is wrong but when I come to a stop sign or light my car stalls, not every time but a lot. Also, seems to happen more in cold or wet weather. So everytime I stop and idle I have to quick put it into park.
I don’t know what the mechanics have checked but the fuel pressure regulator on that vintage was a common problem that would cause intermittant stalling. Also I hope they cleaned the throttle body and checked the crank sensor. Coils and plug wires are also an issue but that usually causes a low speed miss rather than stalling.
Thank you so much, I will give my latest mechanic this information and see what he says.
