My mother owns a 2000 saturn sl2 and she was notiicing her car was loosing antifreeze and stalling on her. She took it to the Saturn dealership and they told her it was a resonator and intake gasket problem. This seems odd to me after researching what a resonator does. Could anyone please shed some insight to me about this. It would greatly be apprecited since my mother is on a limited budget. Thank you.
You are right. Something seems wrong. I don’t see how the a resonator could be involved. I suspect there is a communications error. The gasket is a logical response. Check back and make sure that it really was “resonator” and that was part of the leak and not just that it happened to need replacement also.
