When I turn my car to the right I get a loud klunk and can actually feel the klunk in the floorboards under my feet. Any idea what it might be? It only happens now and then and of course never with the mechanic in the car.
It’s impossible to tell without being there…perhaps with a lift. It could be anything from a bad motor mount to a hanging exhaust pipe to any of a number of bushings to a bad strut mount.
Has anyone put it on a lift and tried shaking things by hand? Has anyone looked at the motor mounts?
