I am trying to replace the alternator on my sons 2000 Ford Focus 2.0l dohc zetec. I am using a Haynes manual. I have the 2 bolts that hold the alt. out, but the alt. will not move at all. The Haynes tech. said to pry on it. This does not work. Help!!!
I believe the pulley on the alternator needs to be removed in order to remove the alternator.
