The auto transmission won’t shift smoothly when accelerating fast or going up a hill. Somtimes it will act like it is in neutral and I will have to change its gear out of drive and back into drive to get it to accelerate again. I’m not sure if these are related and what I should do. Any help is appreciated. thanks.
A common problem with these transmissions was the governor pressure sensor (transducer). This is something a trans shop needs to diagnose. They are easy to replace but they require a high end scanner to diagnose.
