1st let state that whom ever designed the 2000 Chrysler LHS must have a very bad designer from the rooter to the tooter! I have had everything go wrong with my Chrysler just like the 16 screens on the online parts register, and still counting. today while driving, using my cruse control, my car decides to give me a whiplash when it slipped into 2nd gear causing my rpm’s to go crazy and now it will not shift out of 2nd gear. the check engine light came on and my 2000 Chrysler LHS 3.5 is making a whirring sound. If there is anyone out there that has had this go wrong with their Chrysler LHS and knows what the problem is. Please post the answer. thank you
The transmission went into limp mode because of a failure, expect to need a rebuild. I worked on these when they were new but can’t recall seeing one in motion during the last few years.
Agreed , myself I wouldnt waste another 2-3000 dollars on it .
After 11 months the person who never returned has either fixed the problem or replaced the vehicle.
