2 stolen Lamborghinis headed to Colorado intercepted by Wyoming Highway Patrol

What does “not authorized to leave Utah” mean? I suppose it means that the owner reported the cars stolen, but it isn’t clear in the article you posted.

EDIT: I guess Mustangman read it better than I did… lol… Oops

This paragraph in your linked article is complete hogwash… And maybe AI generated.

Now, let’s address the burning question: Is the Lamborghini Revuelto street legal in the US? The answer is yes but with a caveat. While the Revuelto meets all the safety and emissions standards required for road use, its performance capabilities may exceed legal limits in certain states or municipalities.

There are no states that limit performance capabilities of any unmodified car that meets emissions and safety certification for US sale.

:rofl:In that case there are pretty near ZERO cars that are “street legal”.

I had heard years ago that some of the supercars were not allowed in some downtown big city areas, never owned one so never looked to deep into it… :man_shrugging:

Borth cars were rented from a company in Salt Lake City, probably similar to Royalty Exotic rentals in Vegas where you’re not under a mileage limit but only allowed to drive them in the same county Unless you specifically tell them you’re going to another area.

Thanks wolyrobb, makes since…

The rental company I worked for back in the 90’s was a local, he had 6-7 locations in middle TN, but his cars were not suppose to leave TN… and they were normal vehicles… lol

I saw that in Europe when we were there for pleasure in 2005 and business in 2011. I could cross into another country, but not all countries surrounding the one I was in. The rental contract clearly stated where I could not go without voiding the contract.
