1999 Saturn SL2 needs another clutch

I drive a '99 Saturn 129000 miles. The clutch is slipping. A new.clutch was installed in 2006. Should I get another clutch or a new car?

Depends on the condition of the rest of the vehicle. Most likely, it would be worth it to get a new clutch. A clutch should cost around $600 or so. I doubt you could find a car as nice as yours for $600.

What was the mileage when the current clutch was installed? Clutches in general last longer than 65,000 miles apiece. Do you ride the clutch or slip it excessively? Could there be an engine oil leak that’s causing it to slip prematurely?
