Good idea to also check what Rock Auto has listed on their website, and the website for your local Pick N Pull. Did the button fall off, but the switch underneath still works?
I can’t be the only one who wants to know what happened to the old button, can I?

The OP threw it away because it was “hazardous”.

IMHO, this is critically important info for the forum to know … lol … sort of like the mystery of what happens to that little washer on the star-wheel shaft of automatic brake adjusters?
Won’t move because of Rust?
