SMOKE coming from hazard switch in 1999 Cadillac deville
Sheliah , get off the internet and call a shop. I would also have it towed to the shop if was me. You don’t need a car fire while you are driving.

This switch is energized all the time, so VOLVO_V70 is right that you need to address this right away before you have a fire. My suggestion is to find and pull the appropriate fuse immediately before you do anything else.
Or disconnect the battery.
