I have a 1998 Toyota Camry with about 90k miles on it. When I am driving and hold the gas pedal steady the car jerks and hesitates. If I press down on the gas I can power through the problem. It also does this when I set the cruise control. There is no check engine light on. Someone please help!
It’s time for a visit to your mechanic.
If you don’t have a regular mechanic, now is a very good time to find one.
great advice
I think you need to replace your coils. I had a 1992 Camry which was doing the same thing, and when I changed the coils the jerking stopped and the car runs much smoother now.
thanks, I think I will replace all the boots, wires and plugs as well
