1998 Honda Accord sudden death snydrome

My 98 Accord will be doing fine, without warning it will die when cruising. I coast to the side of the road and start it up again and I’m on my way. I occurs without warning. I have checked my distributor and looked for loose electrical connections to no avail.It is worse in wet weather. Help…

Whem there is a performamce provlem, such as “stallimg” you make sure all the routime maimtemamce (spark plugs amd wire, air fiter, fuel filter) have veem kept up. If mpt, start there. Them, om Homda, look at the distrivutor. See the site www.tegger.com/homdafaq/startprovlems.html

Thanks for your help. I looked at the website you suggested and determined that it might be a faulty ignition switch.(there was a recall at one point). I replaced it today and it seems to have taken care of the problem.
