I have a '97 lumina and the interior dash lights do not come on. Neither do the tail lights, resulting in me being pulled over last night. Everything normally comes on automatically when it senses darkness, but they don’t come on even when I manually turn them on. The dome light and the rear-view mirror lamps still work. Any suggestions?
In many cars, the dash lights and tail lights are on the same circuit and consequently on the same fuse. If you have the owner’s manual, this gives the location of the fuses. If it is a fuse and it blows right away, you need to look for a bare wire that is touching the metal of the car. Start in the trunk.
