My 1997 Toyota Corolla’s A/C switch light has gone off… A/C will not cool and just shoot hot air when the A/C lever is moved. Looked at the fuse under the glove compartment (40A?) and had a lil’ corrosion on the top part covered by the transparent plastic. BTW A/C hasn’t worked at the highest setting for years now.
Any ideas as to what might be going on? Thanks all!
You’ll need a good shop that does automotive AC systems to look at it. It could be a leak that has long ago allowed the refrigerant to escape or could be something more serious.
