I have a 1996 Volkswagen GL with automatic transmission. It runs well, except for a weird shifting transmission. The RPMs and speedometer increase in all gears, but it doesnt shift UNLESS you release the throttle! Somebody please HELP! What is wrong with it and how can I correct it??? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
You need to bring it to the dealer, or a mechanic who specializes in VWs.
They will be able to scan the transmission’s computer and look for fault codes.
