My jeep feels like it wants to die when I come to a stop and then when I take off, there’s a hesitation. How do I adjust the idle?
this doesnt sound like an idle problem, yet there are so many posssibilities that im not sure
Could be the IAC. Depending on the engine, this is easy to clean/replace. Also, get somebody to read the engine codes to see if anything shows up there. BTW, idle is not adjustable, its controlled by the ECU.
could be something as simple as an air filter. If that has recently been replaced, you may have a clogged fuel filter. Is the air conditioning on when this happens?? Try it with the AC off and see if it duplicates.
