1996 Chevy Corsica rear freeze plug replacement cost

I love this car because it gets such excellent gas mileage but, I have a rear freeze plug that is leaking profusely. What am I looking at to spend to get this replaced? Oh for the love of God please help me! LOL!

Freeze plugs are inexpensive. The problem is that the location can cause the replacement cost to rise. If the engine has to be raised or moved in any manner then the labor charges will increase. It’s hard to give a specific amount without knowing the location of the freeze plug. A ballpark would be $50-$150.

Why not call your mechanic and ask for an estimate?
