I just bought a 96 cavalier and found out that the subframe is about 2 inches from the front end breaking in two, is this a fixable problem?
If that is really true I would seek out a body shape estimate. Anything is fixable but the likely case for a 1996 chevy far more money than the car is worth.
Have someone weld the subframe if there’s access.
