1995 Volvo 850 turns over but won’t start

Car was starting perfectly, then it became difficult to start, then stopped completely. Currently, motor turns over, but will not
start. Have replaced ignition coil.

The no-start could be caused by a faulty crank sensor.

Tester

I agree with Tester. My experience with a failing Volvo crank sensor was that the insulation disintegrated and the shielding chaffed off the wire. Mine failed on a weekend trip and I was able to slip a wire loom cover over the lead and it served to get the car home.
