I am looking for a used car to drivcve back and forth to work. I have come across two 1995 Chevy Lumina APV with about 130,000 miles. Both owners mention something about the transmission. Both said it hd shifting problems. One said they thought it was a vacume hose, the other said they got the trnsmission fluid and filer changes and the problem went away.
My question is, is this car known for transmission problems?
All minivans are known for transmission problems. If you have a minivan expect to have the transmission rebuilt anywhere between about 100 & 150K.
