My son has been driving without a muffler or catalytic converter for months, it just chugged and died. Do you think that if I replaced the fuel filter we might get it the 10 miles to home?
No, I don’t. Replacing the fuel filter without knowing WHY it stopped running is just blindly throwing parts at the problem.

Thank you. I say scrap the $300. Truck from were it died. It has to many issues from lack of maintenance. Thanks for your time.

Call a local scrapyard. Have them tow it off and pay you for it. Done.
