Hello My grandfather has a 1990 Dodge Dakota truck 6 cyl. 3.9 liter… as of lately we have problems not only starting it but keeping it running… the battery is new, the spark plugs, wires and ignition coil as well as cap an rotor are brand new… for some reason there seems to be no spark to fire up the truck what could possibly be the problem?
It won’t start? Or it starts and then stalls? Stalls when? If you want to immediately throw something at it replace the pick-up coil in the distributor. It is the single most often part to fail and cause no start-so spark.
Thank you we will try that my grandfather said it just wont start now thank you again
