Dakota starting problem

my 99 dodge dakota has a problem it stops running at random when I’m driving then refuses to start for extended periods of time. Took it to the dealer and they diagnosed it as a power train computer problem which they replaced but the problem persists.

You can throw parts at the problem or you can learn to do some quick troubleshooting when it cuts out. Do some research and find out how to check for spark, fuel pressure and fuel injector drive. You’ll need to invest in a few inexpensive tools, like a multimeter.
