5.0 engine with anAOD. How much junk needs to be removed to replace the trans cross member?
You just have to support the transmission with a jack, unbolt the transmission mounts and then the bolts that hold it to the frame.
Just out of curiousity, why do you need to change it?
old one rusted off on the pass. side. Ican not remove the part without what seems to be either exhaust and convertor removal first or something else. I could cut the old one off but I still need to install the new one.
