1988 jeep won't start

I have a 1988 jeep that won’t start There is no lights or dash lights There is no sound when you turn the key we have checked the battery and battery cables, battery good cables where clean still nothing

If you are sure the battery cable connections are ok at both ends then check the wire that ties to the power distribution panel under the hood and using a test light probe check to see if power is getting to there. See if the fuses in it have power on them. If that looks ok then check the fuse panel in the passenger compartment and see if power is getting to those fuses. The problem may also be due to a blown fusible link or bad connection in those areas. The ignition switch may be faulty also or the power supply line to it.

This should be a pretty easy problem to find using a test light probe to check with.
