Crank but won’t start put off timing what can I do i need help
Explain further. Ignition or valve timing.On a fifty-two year old vehicle anything could be possible. Your timing chain could have jumped a few teeth. Distributor could have come loose. Many possible problems.
Me? I would have it towed to an independent shop and pay for a diagnosis. These engines are simple designs, easy to work on. You did not say which engine you have, but that comment applies to all engines of that era.

we would first need to know if this truck is original? or upgraded to fuel injection and electronic ignition? what engine? start with the basics first. see if you are getting spark to the plugs, and getting fuel.
