'08 Impala won't start...left parking lights on

WalMart puts a clear plastic envelope on the side of the battery and sticks the receipt in it, by the way. Problem is when you need it, the elements have pretty much washed out the receipt.

No, it was removed from the car and slow charged. Hilarious story @Triedaq‌. Thanks again, everyone!

@db4690 and @LemonSqueezed–The truck I owned I bought for $115. One doesn’t get the latest truck for that kind of money. The door locks were broken, so there was no way to lock the truck up. The ignition key hung on a nail in the pole barn so that my neighbor could use the truck when he had the need. I would borrow his tractor–an old Massey Harris.
The addition of houses was an upscale addition with newly rich people. I got a call one day from a woman in the addition that I was to keep my horse in the barn. Her dog had been running in my field and the horse I owned had kicked the dog and knocked out one of the dog’s teeth. What I think happened was that the dog was chasing the horse and got too close to her rear hoof. There were people living in this addition that thought the whole country belonged to them. The farmer from whom I bought my land had 25 head of hog on the lot. He was there long before there were any houses. The folk in the addition got up a petition to have him remove the hogs. He then bought another 25 head. A couple of the people in the addition then went to the expense of making their outdoor swimming pools indoor pools. The farmer then sold all his hogs and planted beans in the field. When I became a single dad, I couldn’t take care of him and the place in the country, so I moved to town.
